This page offers a way to explore autistic traits in another adult. It is a reflection tool for people thinking about a friend, partner, colleague, or family member whose communication style, sensory profile, or social experience may feel autistic in pattern. If you want to explore your own traits instead, try our companion Autism Assessment – Myself.
Like our self-assessment version, this page is for reflection and learning – not for diagnosis. The most reliable understanding will always come from open, respectful conversation with the person themselves.

Scoring and interpretation
This supporter questionnaire is intended to help you reflect on whether someone shows a pattern of traits that could be consistent with autism. It is not a scientifically validated diagnostic tool, and scores should be treated as prompts for curiosity rather than conclusions.
Autism can show up in many different ways: deep focus, direct communication, sensory overwhelm, social fatigue, strong routines, or a different way of processing the world. A questionnaire like this can help you notice patterns, but it cannot tell you who someone is or what kind of support they actually need.
Note: These tools are screening instruments, not diagnostic tests.
If this page feels relevant, the most helpful next step is usually to learn more about autism in a respectful, evidence-aware way and to approach the person with honesty, care, and curiosity rather than labels.
